On Sunday morning 4 February the RPS Club arranged a Street Photography Outing to Newtown & New Market in Precinct in Johannesburg. These are the areas known for the Amazing Graffiti all over buildings & bridges
Led by Martin Barber who gave us a small presentation on street photography we were ready to shoot
Safety was a huge factor in the streets, but we were looked after by armed response and we were ready to take on the streets with our cameras
Once we were done in Newtown, we then wandered off to photograph City Scapes in downtown Johannesburg
We ended the day at New Market in Precinct Johannesburg
To say the most, this one of the best excursions in a very long time
The experience of walking in the city, the people and the condition of the city with the powerful graffiti images all over made this a day to remember
Thank you to all of the members attending and to the organizers
Special thank you to Electro Diesel who sponsored us with an outfit for the day
Here are some images of the day
